Let's get this straight: these tomatoes are one of those things you buy "to try" and then end up reordering every month.
We discovered them in Padenghe, during one of our usual explorations of Lake Garda, searching for products truly worth recommending. And these semi-dried confit Piccadilly tomatoes won us over at first taste.
They're processed using traditional methods: they're partially dried at low temperatures, so they retain their natural sweetness and juicy texture that makes them perfect practically anywhere. We use them on bruschetta (obviously), but also to add character to a quick pasta dish or to enhance a platter when unexpected guests arrive.
Why do we love them? Because they're authentic, without frills. Produced by those who know the land and work with passion, without shortcuts. And it shows.
