Lugana DOC Frontelago - White Wine from Lake Garda
Three years ago, there were only 3,300 bottles. A young, ambitious dream, born of passion. Today, production has doubled, but what really matters isn't the numbers. It's the soul of this bottle.
We've been fortunate enough to follow Lugana Frontelago through its evolution: from 2022 to 2024, each vintage has revealed a different nuance, a new maturity. And this has taught us something important: this Lugana DOC from Lake Garda isn't a bottle that stays the same. It's a bottle that grows, year after year.
As soon as the cap is removed
The Lugana Frontelago unleashes its full potential: floral notes, fresh citrus, ripe apple, and almond . In the glass, the straw yellow vibrates like a reflection of the lake, a sign of vibrant freshness.
And when you taste it? Its personality reveals itself in all its strength: lively acidity, deep minerality, a savory, elegant, persistent finish . It's not a flat white, it's a white with character.
The evolution we have seen
This is the part we like best. We tasted the 2022 Lugana DOC , then the 2023, then the 2024. And each time it was different:
Over time, the yellow takes on a golden hue, the aromas intensify, the almond notes become more enveloping, and its elegance becomes more complete. The differences between vintages are not flaws: they are the seal of its authenticity, the sign that this bottle is not born from chemicals, but from the earth, from the hands, from the heart, and, above all, from Lake Garda .
This is a white wine from Lake Garda that speaks of time, of change, of evolution. And we find it beautiful precisely for this reason.
Throughout the meal (really)
Lugana Frontelago is a versatile companion that pairs well with countless gastronomic combinations, from the simplest to the most refined:

Fish appetizers – raw fish, carpaccio, tartare
-
First courses – risottos, pasta with vegetables or fish
-

-
White meats – chicken, turkey, rabbit
-
Fresh cheeses – mozzarella, burrata, stracchino
-
Aperitif – even on its own, with some olives
Serving temperature: 10-12°C . Chilled but not icy, otherwise you lose the nuances.
