When you think of Bardolino , you probably think of a light, easy-drinking red wine for summer. And you're right. But this Bardolino del Monte Baldo is different. It grows on the slopes of Monte Baldo, where the vines coexist with the wind, the silence, and the perfect balance between lake and mountain.

And when we tasted it, we understood that "mountain Bardolino" isn't just a figure of speech. It's a reality you can taste in the glass.

Heroic viticulture (the real one)

The vineyards are located on the slopes of Monte Baldo , an area directly overlooking Lake Garda . These vineyards are not easy to work. They are steep, exposed, and require manual labor. But they enjoy a unique microclimate that yields grapes of great freshness and complexity.

This Lake Garda red is the fruit of heroic and respectful viticulture, conducted by a small family winery that has worked the land with patience and love for generations. It's not industrial production, it's craftsmanship. And it shows.

In the chalice (the deep lightness)

The Bardolino DOC produced here is a celebration of lightness and depth. It doesn't seek power, but balance. It doesn't want to dazzle with excess, but to captivate with understatement.

To the eye: bright ruby ​​red , clear and luminous.
On the nose: a fine bouquet of red fruits – cherry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant – with a floral undertone and a light spiciness hinting at white pepper and cinnamon.

On the palate: fresh, lean but not simple . The tannins are delicate, the flavor is well-defined, and the sip is agile. Perfect for accompanying local cuisine without overpowering it.

But don't let its immediacy fool you: this Bardolino del Monte Baldo has plenty of personality. It's a red that surprises without raising its voice, one that stays with you and never tires.

Temperature: 14-16°C . Slightly cool, not cold, not at room temperature.

Tips for use

Serve chilled at 14-16°C. Perfect with risotto, lake fish in sauce, typical cured meats, white meats, and semi-mature cheeses. Ideal with Veronese cuisine, pasta with tomato sauce, light grilled meats, and cured meats. Excellent with pizza, focaccia, and traditional Italian dishes. Also excellent as a versatile and pleasant wine to accompany any meal. Best consumed within 2-4 years of vintage. Store horizontally in a cool, dark place at a constant temperature (14-16°C).
