On the hills of Soffaino, in the area known as “Béspoi” – meaning “rich in medlars” – lie the vineyards destined for our 2023 Millesimato . A wine that expresses the authentic soul of Valtènesi and its historic vocation for rosé wine .
Produced from Groppello (a native grape variety of Valtènesi) with the addition of Marzemino, Barbera, and Sangiovese, this Lake Garda rosé is the result of a manual harvest in small crates, harvested 10 days early to preserve its freshness and fragrance.
The winemaking process follows the tradition of Preafète , with a second fermentation achieved using the natural Charmat method : months of low-temperature sparkling wine fermentation in an autoclave on the fine lees. It is during this time that the wine develops the finesse of its perlage and the natural elegance of its aromas.
Color: from petal pink to salmon with ruby reflections, pearl white foam
Aroma: delicate and fragrant, with hints of raspberry and wild strawberry
Taste: fine bubbles, dry, fresh, finely savoury, with a marked salinity and a honeyed aftertaste
