When the curtain rises on Indomito – Roccolo Bertazzi , it's not just any wine that enters the scene. It's a story. It's a legacy. It's a promise.

A name, a story
The name Indomito isn't the product of consumerist marketing: it's a tribute to my grandfather's horse, an animal that embodied freedom, elegance, and pride. It wasn't a ferocious beast, but a vibrant and discreet companion. Just like that free, proud, elegant horse—this wine aspires to be.
To speak of Indomito is to speak of family roots, of bonds that have spanned generations, of stories passed down in silence rather than clamor. This wine aims to be the voice of that memory.
A face in the glass
To the eye, Indomito presents itself with a brilliant, clear, and deep ruby red . The color does not shout, but seduces with refined discretion.
On the nose, it reveals an elegant bouquet: small red fruits, black cherry and hints of sweet spices , like a secret accent brought by the lake breeze and the twilight on the vineyards.
A sip is a stroll through the vineyards: not an assault, but a discovery. It's a balance, a delicacy, a seductive lightness. It's a wine that doesn't impose itself, but invites you in.

Territory and soul
This wine originates on the hills overlooking Lake Garda: land, air, water, and history intertwine, and every sip echoes the terroir. The influence of the lake, the microclimate, and the care of the vineyard: all elements that speak to the wine.
Indomito is the encounter between a private identity (family history) and a local one (Garda as horizon and muse). It's a story where the superlative doesn't prevail, but rather subtlety and authenticity.
The perfect accompaniment
Indomitable doesn't require titanic partners: he loves balance, even at the table. He marries:
delicate meats (chicken, rabbit, veal),
soft and semi-mature cheeses,
seasonal risottos,
or it can be enjoyed alone, in moments of reflection and contemplation.
It is a wine for those who listen, not for those who show off.

Why choose it
Many wines scream their existence: Indomito whispers its own. And that very whisper makes it magnetic.
If you're looking for a sense of humor, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a story to carry with you, an identity to savor, a discreet yet present companion: Indomito awaits you.

What a wonderful story behind Indomito the wine that speaks of freedom, memory and the land around Lake Garda. Reading it I could feel the calm of the vineyards and the warm glow of the sunset when you sip a glass. My little wish: a photo of the family or horse that inspired the name would make the narrative even more powerful.
